Brian,

At one point we wrote an application in VB 3.0 and Foxpro 2.6b. The VB app communicated with machines in a factory. The foxrpro app was for data-entry and reporting. We discovered that VB did not support all of the functions that can be used to create index tags. VB was able to use the tags but could not update them properly if functions like dtoc() were used. There were other functions that I do not remember. My experience with VB accessing/updateing Foxpro tables was one that I do not wish to repeat. I hope things are different with VB 5.0. Good luck!
