No one ever mentions the beaches in the vicinity of Cape Canaveral. Are they any good? I believe that Cocoa Beach is a popular location for watching launches, if not for actual beach going. I was there when I was about 8 and don't remember the beach much.

Since I'm a nature lover and not that fond of manufactured entertainment of the theme park sort, I think about deserted beaches and swamps. I don't see much public land on the map around Orlando, except the coast.

Anyhow, I have no current plans to attend Devcon.
