I'll second Ed's suggestion - there is a great "shrink wrapped" class in the FFC, I think it is called _hyperlink. It opens the default browser automatcially so you don't need to know which it is. It then goes directly to a web page. It is very, very easy to use, and it maintains an instance of the browser and thus your navigation history. If you have Marcus Egger's OOP book, he describes it in there.
