However, even without the SQL/Compaq leader, the NetFinity/SQL results more than double the throughput of the best Oracle results, and for 75% of the cost.
Don't get me wrong, I won't go out on a limb and say that SQL is better than Oracle, only saying that the evidence I have seen points to that fact. But I probably hang out in the wrong types of places to see evidence to the contrary. :-)
