>I am fooling around with trying to run a VFP app as a service under Windows 2000 professional/server. I have read a couple of articles here regarding what needs to be done but can't seem to find a downloadable copy of instsrv.exe and srvany.exe. Does anyone know if these files are available somewhere or do I have to go buy the Resource Kit?

(A) You have to obtain a legal copy of the resource kit, either by purchasing it or an appropriate MSDN subscription.

(B) VFP apps run as services will encounter problems when users logout without restarting the system - the VFP 'service' will terminate along with the user, so it doesn't survive the login/logout process.
