Thanks for the support and understanding. This time it was my mistake. I'm also glad, it's finally over, though I feel guilty about introducing this problem at the first place and having me and her spending time on it.

So, the only one mystery left, which is definitely related with JobControl and Grid.SetFocus: when I invoke an application from JobControl, which uses the same DS as JobControl and I issue Report FORM myReport to printer noconsole in this application, it apparently doesn't select the right alias, because Report itself popos up an Error: "Variable Deeds is not found". The table, which used in this report, has this field. So this is the case, where Grid.RecordSource interferes with the program code. This problem could be resolved by separating DS.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
