>I have a client running my app on Windows ME & a couple times a day they will lock up or loose there network connection or can't fine database, etc. Is there any problems running a VFP app on Windows ME that you know of. It seem like I heard that Windows ME had a problem with FILES setting. Any Help would be greatful.

There's no 'problem' - it requires the creation of an entry in the [386Enh] section of SYSTEM.INI to specify the maximum files open at one time per VM:

PerVMFiles=nnn

numbers > 223 are not handled right; the number is max files + 31 < 255 or stuff can happen, like the number gets ignored. You make the entry using MSCONFIG
