I have a DCOM object which I am instancing over the web. Currently the way I am doing security is I setup a user on the NT server and give access rights. Then I add the user into the DCOMCNFG setting. Everything works great, but I want an app where it uses DCOM, but I pass the username and password along the wire rather than have it read the username and password from the client. Is their a way of controlling this?
