Sorry bout not being so clear. Here's what we're doing:

We are now entering our data into our sql server. We still have legacy data that they want to update. So we are tryig ot update our legacy data. That why I'm taking the remote view of the sql server, replacing all null values if any in teh remotve view, w/o doing a table update, scattering to memvar, inserting into the 2.6 table.

I am using an array becuase my code was scatter field list to memvar memo, but i continue to get the error message field data mismatch but when i look the conversion cod ethat you provided works, i dont' see any fields with null values in them. but it blows up on my insert into
