Thanks for your suggesstions. I've been able to manage my requriements satisfactorily.

Just to let you know and if you have any suggesstions, here goes.

- The error handler once put up cannot be unloaded.
- So from the C rutine where I wanted to do this I spawnl()ed a .EXE where the files is checked for with the error handler
