Yes, I understand legalese and the fact that everything is in a state of flux in the legal realm. However, it seems to be a fact that in a "work for hire" situation that the developer owns the software, unless they have specifically contracted that right away. I found some case law that said the developer might retain the rights, even if they had contractually given them up. Why would anyone want to be a lawyer with this kind of logic?< G >
