Oh. Here's what we're doing,

We are using a rv into a sql table. once the user updates that table, they need to add that record to the legacy data that is in 2.6. but the rv of the sql table accepts null and the table in 2.6 doesn't. so i needed to convert teh null values in teh sql table (temporarily) to blanks or {//} or whatever based off the field type and then add everything into the 2.6 table....i keep coming up with data type mismatch....
