I have been working with Cold Fusion for some time now and have gave up on getting Cold Fusion to work with VFP COM objects. I called Allaire on the issue and this is what I posted before:

We received a call from Allaire yesterday on this issue and the bottom line is that Cold Fusion does not work well with VFP Component Object Model objects because VFP uses Variant typing (we dont have strict typing yet).

They indicated that it may change in a new version, but I dont get any warm fuzzies about that promise coming true.

So since I am forced to use Cold Fusion, I made calls to FoxWeb to perform all my Data Manipulation. Cold Fusion can do all the data queries OK, but I let FoxWeb handle updates and business rules for the web application.
