I plained to migrate my existing applications from DBF to SQL Server. I created a database for test purpose.

1) I found that I need to stop the replication server of the database when I have to modify data structure of the database. Then I copy whole database to China office and start the replication again. These procedure is too complex for me. Can I make these task simple?

2) If I define all table within one database in SQL Server. I may copy over 40G data after migration everytime I change the structure of the database. But if I define more than one database for my application access, How can I build-up relationship and view cross multi-database? Can anyone tell me how many database I should define in SQL Server.

Thanks!
