Does it matter that VFP 7 is currently in the VS.Net beta, that it's probably the most functional of the products in the beta, and it's in wide evaluation? Or do you just want something to complain about? If you're convinced that VFP is a dead puppy, learn something new - you have a ton of time before the next Studio product ships, so VB or C# look to be easy favorites with at least some similarity to what you may already know, and there's always Delphi, C++, Oracle, PowerBuilder and the ever-popular COBOL...

Hint: People have been reporting the immenent death of VFP for over 5 years, and it just keeps getting better. Must be the healthiest corpse in the morgue.
