Thanks very much for your response. I registerered the dll with regsrv32.exe I did not know anything about the tlbimp.exe utility.

I know what an assembly is conceptually. I looked up the tlbimp.exe command syntax, but I could play with these items for days without landing on the correct steps to setup and call my vfp7.0 com object from a VB web form. Sorry for being so dense, but if you have any further information regarding the steps to call the com object I will put them to good use.

Of course, I am building a vfp7.0 com object that does quite bit more than a temperature conversion. I will be pleased when .NET is out of beta and there is at least one good third party book that puts the documentation of this development platform in some form I can more fully understand.
