Javier;

After you do this the first time it will become clear.

1. Server.
A. Be sure folder containing the Visual Foxpro application is shared. If it is not only the Server will be able to use it.

B. Using the Explorer of the Server check if the above mentioned folder is shared. If not, right click your mouse on the appropriate folder and select sharing.

2. Client
A. Go to the Explorer and select Tools.
B. Select “Map Network Drive”.
C. “Drive” - Next available drive will be assigned or you can choose an available letter.
D. “Path” – choose from dropdown or if you inow server path fill it in such as \\MainServer\MyApp
E. Create shortcut. From Explored highlight newly mapped drive and right click to select “create shortcut”. Drag and drop shortcut to Desktop.

I use a config.fpw file compiled within my application. Instead of that you can use a config.fpw file that is not a part of the exe and in the same directory as your application. In the config.fpw file you can place things like Paths if you use more than one path for application.

If you have any further questions let me know and I will do my best to assist you.
