Ed,
One thing to keep in mind when jumping from fox2.6 into vfp6 and framework at the same time is that the framework assumes you also understand object orientated programming very well. Also Universal Thread is the only technical support for the framework and the folks are friendly but I've posted questions that never get answered and that stop me from working on my project. (I had a question I posted on csubpop's last Thursday which are part of the framework's code, not mine, and no one has answered except to say they have no answer. Even if someone answers this afternoon I've lost three days trying to make the thing work myself.) I know the problem is probably me because my OOP skills are new. Sometimes people answer and say read the manual (which I've done 100 or 200 times!)I know if I could see some code I probably get it in a snap, but there's not always example of what I'm trying to do available and because I'm new to OOPs I'm may not be understanding the terminology correctly. I keep having to ask myself if the benefits gained by using the framework are worth the risk that there's no support when it bombs and no one to mentor me through the bad patches.
