We have hardware that is checking somebody's fingerprint.
Now is there a way the write a program that is using this hardware to startup a computer or not. (checking the fingerprint before logon) ??
The interface with the hardware is by serial communication.
The thing that I wan't to know
* how can I start an exe before the Windows logon-screen
* can I (if the fingerprint is not valid) shut down the computer ???
* what if they use a startup-disk (DOS) ???

Any thoughts are welcome
