Hello all.

We're seeing a problem with Windows ME and a VFP 6 program compiled as an EXE. We're getting a fatal exception C0000005 when using the GETFILE function. Customers have reported this and we can reproduce it here. The odd thing is, the Open file dialog will appear, and you can navigate around for a while (change directories) Then the C0000005 error will occur as you are moving around, but before you select a file. You can take your hand off the mouse and just let the Open file dialog sit there, and suddenly, error C0000005.

Sometimes you can select a file and click Ok and then it's fine. The dialog will close and the filename will be returned correctly.

Has anyone else seen this? It's a vertical market program that is in use on Win95, Win98, NT, and 2000.
