EVERYBODY does it wrong the first time. Or they carefully format their code with spaces and forget the < pre > < /pre > tags. I don't send a message even if it just has a < b > tag until I test it because I did it wrong so often BEFORE Michel added the Preview button.

And then there are cases where someone inadvertently deletes a tag in a prior message on the thread. So all succeeding messages are < pre > or boldface or.....
