This has been on my mind since I received and used my first issue, but it has come to the fore now that I have bought a machine with Win2K installed.

I generally find that using the INDEX option (would seem to) serve me best. BUT. . .when I use it the titles displayed appear relevant until I access them. Then I find that they are related specifically to things like MSOffice or SQL Server or ACCESS - usually anything except what I am looking for.

This morning I was looking for anything to do with SECURITY for Win2K (workstation) because I have no clue about it and it seems to me that I will need to enclue myself if I am to use the new box effectively.

I have tried to restrict the scope by setting the "Active Subject" but that is actually harder to work with - it still presents ALL items, greying those that aren't part of the scoped set. This usually results in most of the list being greyed and the ungreyed stuff usually isn't applicable (as above).

There must be some way to make this thing much more user-friendly. I will be pleased to hear how to do this.

Thanks in advance,

JimN
