Goodness... I didn't mean to imply there was anything wrong with not being born white. It's just that in the small town I grew up in, I know I would have been treated a lot differently if I had been a different color. So I didn't have to deal with a lot of stuff that other kids did. That's not to say I didn't have my own problems.

I don't think that me saying I feel lucky to be born white means I'm saying everyone who wasn't is unlucky. They might feel lucky to be born however they were as well. I was talking just about myself, and generalizing that to the other 6 billion people is putting words in my mouth.

>I was born white too, I think. Actually, I'm not sure what all is included in the mix. However, what makes you think being born white makes one carefree, without "those issues?" That sounds racist to me. Are you saying white people are viewed in negative terms by others, and other races are unlucky?

>I think people are lucky to be born at all in this day of the fast-food and fast abortion. To say one is lucky to be born white is to say people like (you fill the names in here) were unlucky and unworthy. I had no part in deciding to be born white, but I'm not ashamed of it either.
