I am using an ImageList control on a class and when I open in or run the class on my machine which in NT 4.0 Workstation it works fine but when I run it on a another developers Windows 2000 machine or open it, the Windows Installer for Microsoft Office comes up. We have the same MSComCtl.ocx on each of our machines. I think it has to do with rights because when the other developer on Win 2000 logs on under his logon he can use it but when he logs on under our testuser id the Windows Installer comes up again. So my questions are
1. Why does the Windows Installer for Microsoft Office come up for the ImageList control and how can I not have it do this and
2. Why would the user rights matter for the ocx.
