That's just my point. People like you and other "gurus" here may command 6 figure salary for just showing up to an interview. But This guy knew VFP, but nothing else.
I asked him how much he was making in his current job, he said he was making ~55K. So, naturally I asked him why he was expecting such a jump in salary, and he said "I'm sick of making less then everybody in my department". So,I told him thanks for coming in and good luck in your job search.
