I've seen this happen too - numeric data can look really weird when it centers itself :-) I've found that I almost always set a grid's properties 'on the fly' when I load it to prevent different properties from changing. If a property is set programmatically it seems to 'stick'.

Maybe someone can spare my monitor from the brick with a known fix for this? Column, and control alignment properties have no effect nor is it related to datatype.
