1) Two questions from a MYSQL starter;

I have developed a mysql database with Numeric, Varchar and Char fields.
The problem I have in VB 6.0 is that I cannot update a (Var)Char field
with a new value longer as the old value. Otherwise if the new value is
shorter as the old value it is no problemo. Of course the new value is
not longer as the maximal lenght of the (Var)Char field. I have in each
table defined a primary key.

2) Does anybody know what the best (free) graphic WIN32 MYSQL database
develop tool is?

Please help!!
