>IMHO, coming off to an employer with that type of attitude is not very likely go get you the type of position you are looking for. I certainl would not hire someone whose motivation for leaving a company and joining mine is because 'I am tired of not making as much money as my co-workers'.
What type of attitude? I was in no way advocating that this guy be hired. I aggree with you that his reason for leaving was not a very good one and perhaps for that he should not be considered.
But the opinion I put forth in my previouse post was one of "tell me why I want this job, make me want this job, and here are somethings I am looking for". Someone in this thread already said it - "there is a difference between needing a job and wanting a better job". In todays very tight labor market it amazes me how many employers don't understand who is in the drivers seat.
