Why not use the grid control for data editing? When you use '-1' as a columns count in grid, it shows exactly all columns as browse window. You have, however, to make your own routine to store grid layout and restore it again, while browse window does this automatically in most cases. Anyway, grid have a significant pay-off - better control.
