Because I studied (Computer) Electronics (Including creating programs for it) and was head of the Technical Department of one of the biggest Computermanufacturer in the Netherlands, I started at my current job as the developer of Hardware and drivers for a log-application. Before I started there, I never heard of VFP or Foxpro, but after 3 months later I was programming in VFP 95% of the time. So much for the right education <s>
Because I have experience in Computer Hardware, I am the company fool whenever a computer does not do what it should. Thanks to some colleque's I have a lot of administrator experience < s >.
Because the company is going to a 100% Win2K infrastructure and I had some vouchers to spare, I though to myself, if I can pass the SQL7 exams and the Win2K Server/pro exams, I could have the right administrator mindset, why not go all the way and learn in the process how to implement it here at the company.
At least I have a nice private test-lab right now because the Network is functional now, but it is still in the experimental fase (read: I may screw it up big time < vbg >).
