>>Hi,

>>I am creating a new pad via menu designer to add to an existing menu (sysmenu). The choices (under general options)for putting the pad before/after only list the "Standard" pads - how can I put it before/after a pad that will be on the menu without hacking the mpr? FWIW - I have tried editing the menu with the other menu already in place, but that doesn't make any difference.

>I don't see this happening the way you want because the menu designer has no knowledge of any menu pad names you may have created. When I need to add a pad to a menu, I do so in code. I create my standard app menu using the designer. When I need the additional pad for a particular form, I put DO MYMENU in the form Activate. I release that pad in the form Deactivate and Destroy. [Deactivate does not fire if the user clicks the close button or is RELEASEd].

Thanks Mark - I will just continue hacking the mpr!
