Try putting a WAIT CLEAR before the new WAIT WINDOW. I remember a problem with having an existing WAIT WINDOW "..." NOWAIT with a single line, then adding another WAIT WINDOW with more lines. Or something like that. I'm not able to reproduce it in VFP, so maybe that's been fixed.
