Disney has talked about many things since I've been in CA, about 13 yrs. Several of their ideas have run into severe political roadblocks. But I think the politicians woke up when they saw how the area around Disneyland had sunk into disrepair. Letting the Disney folks build was the only way to really spruce up the area.
Now if the Disney folks could just figure out how to run a Hockey and Baseball franchise, all will be well in Orange County.

>>I was trying to explain that principle to someone from New Zeland. Why I don't currently live in a big house. I think u have to be here to appreciate it.

>But we do have Disney Land! That makes up for a lot we have to put up with. Without Mickey and his friends we would only have nice weather and 34 million people, all trying to get on the same freeway at the same time. With the new 55-acre addition it should make life more bearable. Seems like about 30 years ago Disney was talking about putting a California Theme Park in Burbank, near the Studio. My sister in law lives in North Hollywood so we get down there often.
