Congrats Rick! You did it the proper way. I tried to take the easy road and got bummed. I just wish I had time to study.

I'm first pursuing MCSD and than maybe MCDBA. That's why I took 70-029 (kill 2 birds with one stone?). Otherwise I would of took one of the two VB tests. My next test will be VB-Distributed but this time, I'm going to study before I take it (now that I have to actually spend my own money for the exams). However, I'll have to retake 70-029, even if I get my MCSD just to get even.

Well, at least three down and one to go. Again, congrats on becoming an MCSD!

>You must know your stuff, that's not an easy exam. Forunately I passed it last Wednesday and completed my MCSD (hooray!). I studied from the Exam Prep and New Riders books I mentioned, plus as much hands-on experience as I could get. I found that the two books complemented each other - there was quite a bit of overlap, of course, since they both address 70-029 specifically, but between the two of them I felt there was pretty good coverage of all of the stated exam requirements. I'm sure there are other good study guides, too, but IMO nothing is as valuable as hands-on experience with the product.

It's "my" world. You're just living in it.
