Although I haven't tried them, and don't know how applicable they would be to your situation, there are a couple of technologies that might help you here:
- Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ)
- Nick Neklioudov apparently has written an article in the February FoxPro Advisor that outlines how to raise events in VFP using (I believe) a VB COM object.
