Help! Codebook questions....

I have studied the Codebook methodology diligently for
a couple weeks, and feel like I understand a large part of it. However,
there are just enough "foggy" areas that I don't feel like I can put it all together.

I installed Codebook's stuff as the book suggested. I cannot run the CD app
using do main, or do progs/main. I start by typing "set defa to d:\cdbk30\cd" in the command window. Then type "do progs\main".
It gets to the line in the main.prg that says DO COMMONPATH\PROGS\SETUP and
gives error saying setup.prg isn't found. Everythings seems to be in order
to me. The main.prg has the #include 'include/appincl.h' which is in the
d:\cdbk30\cd\include directory, and the appincl.h file has
#DEFINE COMMONPATH ..\..\CDBK30\COMMON30

The setup program is there, at d:\cdbk30\common30\progs, so I don't understand this. (I have one of the original codebook CD's since I bought it when it first came out)

Next, I tried to use qstart.app to create a codebook app as Appendix C suggests. I enter the proper location of my generic.pjx file (D:\cdbk30\generic\) and location of common files (D:\cdbk30\common30\) the destination D:\golf\ and as project name and application class, GOLF.

Qstart begins running, and then gives me an error saying that "D:\golf\generic.dbc does not exist".

Thanks Tons for any/all help.
Lynn
