I have a requirement to accces FPW 2.6 files using both FPW and also VFP .
I realise I can use certain commands from VFP (e.g. Modi stru,reindex) bu I am only using VFP to 'Access' and 'Replace' certain fields. I am getting the following problems and wonder if there is a workaround:

1) When I access the files from VFP. I always get a screen coming up asking me what Code Page I want... is ther a way of suppressing this

2) I get an 'Invalid Foxuser.dbf file' after using the files with VFP. I can overwrite this each time but would prefer to suppress.

3) Going into VFP, I get a message 'Do I want to upgradr resource file from Ver 3 to Ver ??
