hi everyone -

i am using vb 6.0 and am using an ADO connection with an ms access database where i'm using the ms activex data objects 2.5 library. i have a memo field that just has some dummy junk data...a sentence or two. anyway, in my application, i create the recordset with another function in a module and return the recordset to the calling function where the calling functions displays the data. now, it works with all my other data types and i can see the data in the memo then i first create the recordset. the problem is that when the recordset is returned, the memo shows a null in the value instead of the text. does anyone have any ideas what could be happening?

any suggestions would be much appreciated.
