MS Visual Studio Installer (Version 8426) installs our VFP 6 application on Win98 and Win NT 4 machines without any problems.

On Win2k and Win2k Server the installation process works as expected, but when the EXE is launched afterwards, any call of NEWOBJECT(…) or CREATEOBJECT(…) within the application will bring up a VS Installer progress bar telling me that the application I am working with is being installed and that I have to restart the machine to make it work!?

Even worse: starting IE will bring up the Installer progress bar too!

Anyone seen this behaviour? What am I doing wrong?
