Hi Ed,

One issue you may want to consider when choosing a methodology is what Design Tools are available. I mention this because I am currently using Visual Modeler (a.k.a scaled down Rational Rose) for all of my design work. It uses Unified Modelling Language and integrates nicely with VFP.
I have been looking for OO design tools for the last four year. This is by far the best I have ever come across. I have been using it constantly for several months and I have found it very stable, prints diagrams well, generates reports into MS Word and has one of the best designed interfaces I have seen in any product.

Just thought you might be interested,
