hi

i am modifying an old foxpro 2.6 (dos) program
it has a browse command brow fiel x,y,z
i now have to add several more fields brow fiel x,y,z,a,b,c,d
when the screen scrolls to the right, x disappears
when i use a brow fiel x,y,z,a,b,c,d lock(1) command
the screen shows x twice (the client does not like this)
when i scroll to the right, the leftmost x stays on the screen (this is good)

the question is

how can i eliminate the double x at first??
