I don;t know the abilities of the rogram writen on PERL. However, when PERL can use ODBC drivers, than you can connect to VFP database using VFP ODBC driver. In addition, when PERL can instantiate COM objects (or remote COM objects), it is even more useful - you can make a COM object in VFP that will access VFP database directly and send back data on request.
