I've noticed that the "New" button is gone from the message board left pane. Can we get it back? It was far more easier to click this button and select the forum from the combobox than to have to click on every forum on the main page and clicking on each sections of that forum afterward.

If bringing back the "New" button in the forum is not an option, can we get a "New" button in the selected forum that will list all new entries in that forum?
