As for socket, I use Dolphin Socket OCX. This is what the Universal Thread Navigator is using. I tested many and this is the only one I have found to be standard.

However, here you have an all in one tools which can be good as well. However, just make sure they didn't apply an environment restriction. The last time I tested an all in one tool, the vendor put an environment restriction where I was receiving a message that this control was not allowed to be run outside of VB. Even if the control was standard OCX and was able to run in Visual FoxPro, they included that in it in order to avoid doing support for Visual FoxPro programmers.
