I rarely if ever use Today, Yesterday, Last Week, or Last Month - after all, that's what Calendar is for. Who's going to look at a week's worth of messages at once anyway, much less a month's worth? IMO these button's don't merit promotion to the left frame, particularly if they displace other, more useful buttons.

I haven't checked that yet, Rick, but thanks for the heads up. I agree with your assesment completely. Grumble...grumble...grumble (and that's not about the button changes, BTW).

>>I'm not one to gripe too much about changes, but this recent change in the interface is not, IMO, a terribly good one. I could understand placing the "Today", "Yesterday", "Last Week", etc. buttons in the left hand frame if they were removed from the message list frame, but they haven't been. So why do we now need duplicates of these buttons?

>>Further, on a 640x480 monitor, there's still room to restore something like the "What's New" button without a problem. Frankly, I hit "What's New" everytime I first log on to the UT, but have rarely used the "Today", etc. buttons. Put the "What's New" button back, please.
George
