Thanks for replying back Barbara. I tried putting in a cursor, however the cursor (I suppose popsup on screen) never showed up on the screen to evaluate the data. Also when I was requery(), I had an error say cannot requery() table not native to visual foxpro. I think my problem is that I may have uncommited data. When I exist the form and come back in, the array does have the correct data. Prior the populating the array, I am insert into payroll_tbl the data. Can you suggest how I can commit data to table after doing insert into? Also, the array that I am using only needs to be present in my lostfocus, really don't need to access the array anywhere else, I'm just using it to extract data a quick way, and place that data in another field.
