Hello Asif,

>Your approach seems too confusing. Imbed a checkbox control into one of the columns in the grid and set it's ControlSource to lSelect.

The checkbox approach is not as visually striking as having the whole row show up reversed out, white text on a black background instead of the usual black text on a white background. Also, if they are scrolled over to other columns in the grid the checkbox might be unavailable if it is perhaps the leftmost column.

In Win95 Explorer, open a directory and go to the View menu, then select details. Now you have resizeable, sortable columns, and you can multi-select by Ctrl-Clicking different entries, this is the style of grid we would like to create except we will have the whole row show up in reversed text instead of just the filename.
