That's a generic COM error, which means the application that generated it didn't provide any specific information about the cursor. In this case it's most likely the VFP ODBC driver that's causing this error - meaning it GPFd or otherwise failed with a non-SQL error.
You need to be more specific about what acutally is happening in your code to give you any more info.
