I have installed VFP 6.0 on a new machine. Next, I installed Service Pack 3. This is a Win 98 environment. I get 'Numeric Overflow - Date was Lost' errors when replacing records when it shouldn't be happening. Also, browses and even text boxes often show stars in the fields where numerics should be. I have not caused any overflows but the message / textbox behaviour is occurring. I reinstalled VFP over top of itself and this did nothing to help the problem. Has anyone heard of this?
