Larry said pretty much the same thing as what you're getting at. Besides the active window/keyboard focus, the other possibility would be that Fox doesn't under the HELPINFO structure that MessageBoxEx() is sending back. Since Windows os generating the non-application specific message, which Fox does understand, the next step would be to figure out what the default settings are for the structure.
